Welcome to your August update of the Happy Newsletter!

At the start of Summer, we introduced our updated skincare range featuring incredible new formulations that are COSMOS certified organic by the Soil Association.

While packaging these luxurious, efficacious products, we reduced our use of virgin plastic by 66% and opted for glass, aluminium, and PCR (recycled) plastic wherever possible instead. The result? Well, we’ve saved ten tonnes of virgin plastic (compared to our previous skincare range). That’s heavier than five male adult giraffes!

From one ethical achievement to another. We’ve achieved an ethical index score of 100/100 by the Good Shopping Guide (again)! This is the 5th year we’ve been awarded Ethical Accreditation and the second year we’ve achieved maximum marks in the skincare, makeup, and sun protection categories. Now onto awards, and it looks like we’re going to need a bigger trophy shelf! We’ve now won over 50 awards, 55 to be precise at the time of writing in 2022 alone, bringing our all-time total to 324 awards. We’ve already smashed our entire 2021 tally. Highlights for us include winning Best Ethical Brand at the Marie Claire Sustainability Awards and being ranked 14 as one of the Best Female-Powered Companies in the UK by JP Morgan.
