ROLE 1 

SOCIAL MEDIA EXECUTIVE

We are looking for a Social Media Executive to bring its brands to life through exciting, original social content. The ideal candidate will have a love of all things social, thrive on social media interactions and love making their ideas come to life. You will be able to communicate across different social channels with excellent attention to detail. You will understand and help build on the current brand strategy, and help create social posts which are consistent and reflective of the brand.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing daily social media communications: Facebook/Twitter/Pinterest/LinkedIn/Instagram.
  • Creating monthly social media strategies.
  • Maintaining the social content calendar.
  • Running weekly competitions across all social media platforms.
  • Coordinating and maintaining paid social adverts.
  • Taking creative photos for social media and blog post.
  • Assisting Brand and PR Coordinator to maintain relationships and highlight new opportunities via social.
  • Social coverage of our bi-annual Glambassador events.
  • Maintaining a keen understanding of industry trends and make appropriate recommendations regarding our social strategy surrounding them.
  • Researching competitors and provide recommendations for our channels based on findings.
  • Monitoring, analysing and communicating social results on a monthly basis.
  • Assisting Customer Support team with online queries.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • A passion for natural beauty products.
  • Creative writing skills.
  • At least two years’ experience working in a social focused role.
  • Impeccable organisation skills.
  • The ability to think creatively and outside of the box.
  • A hard working, determined and can-do attitude.

This full-time position is available immediately.

Starting salary £25,000 - £27,000. Negotiable depending on experience.

Hours are 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday.
We are located just 2 minutes’ walk from Therapia Lane tram stop which connects directly to East Croydon and Wimbledon.

AMBASSADOR SUPPORT ASSISTANT

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR…

  • You love people, you’re an expert chatterbox and you like to think of talking as your hobby.
  • You’re excited about the prospect of helping over 5,000 Tropic Ambassadors run their very own beauty businesses, and even more excited that some of those Ambassadors are going to end up feeling like your friends and family.
  • Hearing about someone’s struggles makes you want to go the extra mile to help every time, and you live for the days when you get to say a big "congratulations!" when they have achieved something fantastic.
  • You’re social media savvy (Facebook is your life) and you’d be happy to engage with customers in this way, as well as via email and phone calls.
  • You like to have your ideas heard, take control of your own responsibilities and be recognised for your hard work.
  • You’re a master at balancing all your tasks whilst answering queries throughout the day, but you know when to ask your team for help.
  • You know that sometimes the best jobs require that little bit of extra dedication and hard work, but that the rewards are always worth it.
  • You’ll be up for getting stuck in, and ready for those days you’ll tackle something you’ve never done before, as that’s what makes the day even more interesting.
  • You’re interested in the fact that we’re still young as a business, and you understand that we’re still figuring out just how amazing we can be.
